DESCRIPTION:The three-day seminar and workshop covers all aspects of shot peening and including techniques and applications. Our professional instructors will demonstrate what the process is\, how to do it correctly\, and how to inspect the completed process. An emphasis on equipment and its maintenance will be included as well as the selection and quality control of media. \nStudents have the opportunity to earn a shot peening achievement certificate.  Achievement exams for Shot Peening Levels 1\, 2\, and 3\, and Rotary Flap Peening will be offered.

DESCRIPTION:The East Coast Regional AFS Conference is being held on Thursday and Friday\, October 24 and 25\, 2020 at the Heritage Hills Golf Resort and Conference Center York\, PA.  The successes of past Conferences in this area has prompted our return to this area. \nOur theme for the 2020 Regional is Concept to Castings.  The objective is to reach out to Foundry owners\, managers and engineers with a focus on market changes and product development. The topics and discussions will center around the development of new processes and available technology enabling the foundry industry to take a concept or idea to a finished casting. \n
