The Seminar took place May 12-13 in Illinois at the American Foundry Society Headquarters. Designed for newcomers to the safety and health field, as well as professionals entering the metal casting industry, the program delivered a strong foundation in critical regulatory and safety topics, including electrical safety, arc flash, respirable silica, machine guarding, emergency preparedness, and hazards across the casting process.

Sinto America was honored to be part of this important conversation. Pat Patton, Sinto America Applications Manager, lead a session focused on abrasive blasting, grinding, cleaning, and finishing operations, sharing insights on common hazards and practical resources to help strengthen safety programs.
Safety is a shared responsibility across our industry, and events like this play an essential role in building knowledge and protecting our workforce.
Thank you to AFS for hosting such a valuable seminar and for the opportunity to contribute.
