President and CEO, Don Kvorka, Announces Retirement

Sinto America, Inc., and its affiliated companies announce Donald Kvorka, President and Chief Executive Officer, will be retiring effective October 19, 2018. Kvorka will remain active with the companies and serve on the Board of Directors and in a new part-time role as Director of Corporate Development. Michael Halsband, currently Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer as of October 19, 2018.

Kvorka joined the company in 1997 as Chief Financial Officer and assumed the role of President and Chief Executive Officer in 2015. Under his direction, the companies have grown significantly both in terms of product and service offerings and overall company growth. The companies continue to provide a wide array of equipment and services throughout North America in the foundry, surface treatment, and material handling markets.The Sinto America, Inc. Board of Directors appointed Michael Halsband, President and Chief Executive Officer effective October 19, 2018. Halsband joined Roberts Sinto Corporation as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in September 2017.

“We’ve added several strong executive staff, and I am confident Michael and the executive team will provide the necessary leadership and direction for the future,” Kvorka stated during his announcement.
