Nitral Etch

Nital etching is a non-destructive testing method that uses chemical etching of a substrate surface to find visual indications, typically related to aggressive grinding or machining of steels.  Nital etching of these components can reveal these defects and determine the steps required to remediate these defects.

Sinto Surface Technologies can provide these services in-house at our Bedford Heights plant and can also offer these capabilities at all of our locations through partnerships with local approved suppliers.  As Nital Etching typically precedes other surface modification processes, this can allow us to bundle capabilities to provide one-stop-shop services.
