Industrial
Thermal resistance, abrasion resistance, and electrical resistance all factor in towards tooling and applications for high demand industrial applications. Ceramic parts make excellent end effectors where there is a risk of electrical arcing between the component and the tooling. They are also used as abrasive media nozzles and handling equipment in sand blasters and shot peening, where a metal might abrade almost immediately. Specialized welding tips are often manufactured in alumina or zirconia to provide optimal shielding from gasses while also resisting the high temperatures and splatter from molten metal.
Sinto Advanced Ceramics has experience producing ceramic parts for a variety of different industries at a variety of different specifications. Let us help you to produce your parts, whether you are just now starting to prototype, or are ready to go into mass production, Sinto is ready to meet your needs.

¹In development, coming soon
²Firing of nitrides is not currently available in the US and will need to be done at a different site. We expect this capability by early 2027 in the US.
³Keep in mind that all printer volumes are for the raw printer volume – parts typically shrink by 20-30%, so 100 mm may only be ~82 mm of sintered part
