2022 James E. Donlan Memorial Scholarship
On August 17, 2022, Sinto America presented four individuals with the 2022 James E. Donlan Memorial Scholarship at the employee appreciation lunch. The ratings were extremely close and we therefore opted to split the award in 2022.
Dalton Canup is the son of Mitch Canup, Maintenance Technician National Peening Statesville, NC. Dalton is currently an intern at Collins Aerospace, he is working on test fixture development and the utilization of 3D printing techniques. He is in his second year at University of North Carolina at Charlotte and is studying Mechanical Engineering.
Andrianna Nhip is the step daughter of Wood Chhit, General Manager Technical Metal Finishing. Andrianna is in the top 10% of The Society of Young Scholars. She is a member of the Tri-M Music Honors Society. Andrianna graduated high school this year with a 3.54 and will be attending Central Connecticut State University in the fall studying Mechanical Engineering.
Carson Hennessey is the son of Mike Hennessey, VP of Operations Roberts Sinto Corporation. Carson is a member of Davison HS DECA State Championship team. Carson has accumulated over 120 community service hours, 50 of those hours he worked with youth in the St. Johns basketball league. Carson graduated high school this year with a 3.98 and will be attending Michigan State University in the fall studying Engineering.
Alyssa Hennessey is the daughter of Mike Hennessey, VP of Operations Roberts Sinto Corporation. She is a CHAARG member at MSU, the Club Leader of Unified Champions and a member of the National Honors Society. Alyssa is in her third year at Michigan State University and is studying Neuroscience.
