Employee Spotlight: Brevin Luea Completes Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship

We are proud to announce that Brevin Luea has successfully completed his Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship at Sinto! Brevin began his journey in 2021 and reached this milestone in September 2025. During this time, Brevin also completed his associates degree.

Jeremiah Carpenter, Controls Engineering Manager, shared: “An apprenticeship requires hard work, dedication, sacrifice, and above all, a strong attitude and eagerness to learn. From day one, Brevin has exemplified all these qualities and more. His commitment to excellence and passion for growth make him a standout team member. I have no doubt he will continue to thrive and take on even greater challenges.”

During his apprenticeship, Brevin completed 8,000 hours of on-the-job training, building electrical panels for all projects, including Sinto America’s first electric mold handling line for Century Foundry, and wiring the majority of machines produced in Grand Ledge.

Brevin has been welcomed by his coworkers and managers on all levels. Terry Shauver, Electrical Supervisor, worked side-by-side with Brevin training him throughout the years. Terry stated, ““Brevin is an exemplary employee—always on time, never complains about last-minute rush jobs or overtime, and consistently thinks outside the box. If he asks a question, it’s usually because he’s found a mistake and wants verification. I wish I had a whole team of Brevins.”

Grant Pensa, Manufacturing Manager, commented on Brevin’s role within the team, “Brevin has quickly become an outstanding member of the Manufacturing Team at Roberts Sinto. His attention to detail, professionalism, and problem-solving skills set him apart. We’re excited to see what he accomplishes next.”

Brevin is currently working full-time at Sinto. Congratulations, Brevin! We’re proud to have you on the team.
